Renaissance Square is a mixed-use complex in downtown White Plains, NY. It consist of two 40 story glass towers that sit on a common base. The building contains a Ritz-Carlton hotel, a Westchester Hotel and Residences. The Ritz-Carlton includes 123 rooms, 213 residences and 23 condominium-hotel units. The Condominium residents have access to the hotel’s services.
As a major amenity, the hotel features a 10,000-square-foot luxury spa and fitness center, meeting and special event space and two restaurants, one a winter garden at street level and the other on the 40th floor of the tower.
Tahir Demircioglu, as Senior Designer at Costas Kondylis and Partners, was responsible for designing the massing and articulation of the towers, and the configuration of the building base. A high level of attention was placed on how the building would impact vehicular circulation in the surrounding neighborhoods due to its size. Tahir was additionally responsible for coordinating the work of numerous consultants in order to resolve this issue.
